You could be escaping to the heart of Scotland for a luxury short break at Airds Hotel with stunning views of Loch Linnhe and the Morvern mountains
Situated on Scotland’s west coast, Airds Hotel is the perfect country retreat, whether you’re looking for an intimate venue for a wedding and reception, a first night, or simply a weekend away from it all. And you could be sampling it for yourself if you’re the lucky winner of our competition.
The hotel has 11 luxury bedrooms and suites that have been recently refurbished to offer a mix of classic Scottish elegance and contemporary design. Most rooms have stunning views of Loch Linnhe and the Morvern mountains beyond.
Ready for relaxation
After a full Scottish breakfast the most difficult decision you’ll have to make will be whether to cosy up together in front of a roaring log fire, or venture out to explore the spectacular scenery. There are plenty of romantic walks around the hotel, while Oban, the Isle of Mull and Glencoe are great choices for day trips.
And once you’ve worked up an appetite, the Airds restaurant serves fresh produce and excellent seafood, with many of the ingredients sourced locally. If you’re looking for something extra-special, make sure you try the seven-course tasting menu.
Airds Hotel is a small, luxury boutique hotel, just the right size for a truly individual wedding. Booked for exclusive use, it can cater for up to 36 guests at a seated reception, or 50 for a buffet. It has a wedding licence and ceremonies can be held in either the hotel or the garden. And with room for up to 22 guests to stay there’s no reason why you can’t keep the party going all night long!
