Pelham House is a beautiful 16th-century wedding venue situated in the charming town of Lewes, East Sussex. It’s currently undergoing an incredible transformation and will soon be reborn to combine the grandeur of a country manor with the sophistication of a private club. Every little detail has been carefully considered and the whole property is exclusively yours for your special day.
Start your day in the Dressing Room, where you can put the finishing touches to your look with your friends and catch a glimpse of your guests arriving in the courtyard below.
Civil ceremonies are held in the chic Ceremony Room, where light streams in through the bay windows and the colourful gardens provide a stunning backdrop. In the warmer months, say your vows in the licensed Gazebo outside and make an unforgettable entrance along the flower-lined path while your guests are seated on the lawn.
When you enter the Dining Room for your wedding breakfast, you’ll be captivated by the grand marble pillars and original wood panelling. Enjoy a mouth-watering bespoke menu from the Galloping Gourmet chefs before dancing the night away in this exquisite space.
End the night in luxury in your romantic Honeymoon Suite. It has its own spacious lounge area to relax in, a pristine en-suite, and an inviting bed to sink into. With space for 60 of your guests to stay in the house too, you can keep the festivities going over breakfast in the morning.
